What is this ring??????

I removed the oil pan. This ring was not laying inside. As I wiped the top of the oil pump and oil drain tube, this ring fell out. The only places it seemed to fit were the inside of the drain tube or outside of the oil pressure relief.

So what is it and should I be concerned Engine runs fine.

Possibly part of an old clamp for the rubber crank breather hoses? Not sure how it would have fallen in there...
