If I were a few years younger I'd be tempted:

Nice car! Here's another racing spider in Nebraska for sale on eBay. If it was closer I'd bid on this, sell some of the spares and have a cheap SCCA racer. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1979-Fiat-124-S ... _#viTabs_0

Yes, that car was sold by Tony Wentworth about 6 months ago. I saw it advertised on the SCCA site and emailed him about it last February. This advertisement is pretty much a copy of his advertisement, which I still have a copy of. Price has gone up (Tony's advertised price was $3800 or best offer) , but I don't see that anything has been done to improve the car.

Interestingly, the car is also advertised in the Craigslist link below from Mooresville, NC.

Some of the SCCA IT classes require the bumpers, and working tail/brake lights. That Nebraska car has been worked on by John Baucom, who has won many SCCA Prouction titles driving Fiat Spiders. He knows the cars inside and out,and is a really good wheelman!
