Bumper Conversion Source?
Re: Bumper Conversion Source?
Here's a not so great pic of the rear. Being a '69 there are fewer bumper holes. The blocks installed right in the original slot. I have 15" wheels with no spring mods. It doesn't appear, to me anyway, to sit too high.

Hey TUC that's exactly what I was talking about. Could not afford real cobra bumpers had to find something close. I have fantasy dreams about owning a cobra like that. It's beautiful.

HeyvTuc I just noticed you have a tonneau cover. How did you mount the snaps on the dash under the windshield. I remember when I was in college I had a 57 MGA and had a tonneau on it. I would love to put one on my 78 spider.

Thanks, it was fun to build. Nice to work with all new parts. No "mystery" wires, no crud to clean to identify bolts. I actually made a few bucks when I sold it. That almost never happens doing a restoration.

Like these much better than stock for my 1981 2000. Anyone know where to get them?Tuc124 wrote:
