Block ID Numbers

I have a 1981 2L block that I am working with: marked 132 RC.40/9

I see the 132C40 is my 2L as expected, but the "R" AND /9 escape me.

I can't find this exact match on the Mirafiori site and I am wondering if any of you know the significance of these markings?

those numbers are cast on the block, really mean nothing. look above the drivers motor mount or the oil filter housing, the stamped in numbers are the ones you need to read.
