Reverse light.

Post by crazymoose1990 »

Anyone have pictures of what a reverse light looks like on 68? Does anyone have one for sale?

This may not be the best help to you, but this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLfXzikzJvs) shows one at about the 5:55 time stamp.
Not much detail, but it may be better than nothing.

Funny I saw that video before, I couldn't remember if they showed the reverse light or not. Really can't tell what it looks like though..

Thanks.

My Canadian version does not have a reverse light.
Same as this 68.

It was under the left rear bumper. It was a Carello light that was used as front turn signal on some other Italian cars.

I see the lenses for sale on E-Bay, but no housings. They do list them as fitting other models. The only reason I ask is because I found the left rear bumper at the junk yard and would like to add this option to our 68.

Thanks for the info guys.

My '71 coupe has the lights under the bumper. They look a lot like what was posted above:
They're not great pictures, but you can see them here:

If you're interested, I can take better pics of them this afternoon. If you'd like to buy the lights, you're welcome to them.

The bumper should have an indentation which the light sits in. At least the 69 bumper i have sitting around has this but i am not sure if they all came this way.
