I was told this is a family forum. Now I see a whole topic dedicated to guns ?

Just makes me sad...very sad.

Happy new year everyone :(

I keep getting quoted in this discussion, so I guess I have a responsibility to reprise a few words? Gentlemen! My comments about the rest of the world are not intended to be antagonistic! Please don’t take them that way. God bless all of you, do as you see fit in your lands! And we will choose our own way. Many times right, many times wrong. :?

I see here a 9 page, 1243 view, 120 response, very civil discussion of the United States Constitution and Bill of Rights, specifically focused on the Second Amendment. Bravo! This is a testament to the power of the internet, and the power of civil discourse across this forum and across the globe. :D

But Good God, abcman3000! You live in one of the most beautiful countries on the planet, with arguably the most beautiful women, best food, great art, history and culture, warm climate, beautiful beaches and Northern mountains, and the home of the Western World’s most prominent religion. I don’t see that you have anything to be sad about. Many of us, myself included, I would bet are damned envious!

But if your sadness is from the lack of being able to post scantily clad women, I will admit that they have had the same effect on me in my life, with disastrous financial result, and well, you have to take that up with Mark, our moderator.

Happy New Year to all.

Please not the title of this section of the forum....
"Off Topic and Social"
Your comparison by the way is what we call "apples to oranges" over here.
Two totally different things.
What more needs to be said to turn your frown upside down?

Maybe abcman3000 or djape1977 would like to start a new topic of discussion on forum censorship and we could all offer our opinions?

@ djape1977. I think this last sentence is unnecessarily out of line, big time.

Anyway, I'm not trying to debate something that doesn't concern me directly nor is it relevant to the Fiat Spider passion. I was just expressing my feeling about this double standard in morality, and a very disturbing one from my point of view.
This is my last post in this violent topic.
