Fiat 500 Spider / Coupe Concept

I sure hope Fiat HQ is watching! There's definite homage paid to the classic Spiders with the double-bubble hood. I'd like to see it in Abarth trim! 8)

God I hope not... I like the idea but of a new coupe/spider but not if it looked anything like that, yikes!

FIATHQ is not watching, their USA Sales are in the tank. No one likes that hideous 500L. God that thing is ugly. For a company that was able to design such pretty cars they are really going out of their way to create some "empty" products.

No,no... I realize that they are two totally different carsconcepts but I just think that if they were to ever bring back a coupe/spider it should be something not based on the 500. That horse has already been beaten to death, no need to continue especially considering they aren't winning to many buyers over here with that design language. Would love to see a return to RWD platform verses trying to make the 500 chassis a one size fits all with anything new. Again, my opinion and just that

O k look at it this way. There was an 850 right along side the 124 spider for years. Looking at the two new ideas, I find the 500 spider very appealing. The photo shop of the larger spider is just so so. It needs to be refined, alot. I would love a new rear wheel drive 124 spider with a twin cam. But if its ever produced, it Will be to expensive, just like the Alfa. And thats unfortunate.

the spider looks dorky IMO--same way the Mini convertible does. the Coupe has potential though. Like to see it with a Zagato style "double bubble" roof.
