First, Thank you for all the great info on this site. It's time I ask for some help. I've run into my first major snag with my project. I've searched and searched but I haven't seen a rear shock bottom bolt mount like mine from an Italian Imported 1972. See pics below. I thought I'd get some guidance before I go drilling out bolts. Most of the ones I've seen posted have a raised coil mount. In my case, I can't even get an open wrench head in there let alone get the bolt out even if loosened. The second pic is a side view of what looks like the shock mount bracket that lays inside of the coil mount. Very rusted!!!

the entire lower mount unbolts from the spring seat. Good luck with the rust

14mm extension socket, a little liquid wrench, and some elbow grease. Now on to cleaning these suckers up.
