Post by focodave »

Petrolicious produces some very cool vintage car videos.
Check this one out.
It is so interesting in so many ways:

Great video. His description of how he feels when driving the car is outstanding and explains in some degree why some of us love the Spider.
Buon giro a tutti! - enjoy the ride!

I absolutely love them. Some of them are in Italian, I sent those to a friend who teaches Italian, I think car-guy students would love them.

wow great video well done.

For me it was a little scary when he spoke of the laws limiting the times and places he is allowed to drive a car that doesn't meet current emission standards. Then he mentioned those special fees. I am afraid this might happen here in the USA.
I probably calculated his cost of fuel/mile wrong but I think it might have cost him close to 80 cents/mile just for the gas. My Mercury Montego averages better than 25m/g highway and costs less 16 cents/ mile for gas. If it got 15m/g at $4 /gallon I think it would cost about 26 cents/mile.
I think, for now, we still have it pretty good in the USA when it comes to gasoline pricing.

Well, with the weak dollar and the generally high fuel prices in Italy, it's now about 9 USD per US gallon there.

Go to Petrolicious.com for a real treat.
They have some very good articles, videos, and quite a bit of Italian car stuff in the mix..

Aside from FiatSpider.com, I think I 've found my new favorite car website.
