Bungee Placement in Trunk??

Post by bonsaiwino »

Hi guyz, Am now getting a couple of bungee hold-down straps for our '79 Spider's trunk. I need to know the proper placement of the bungee straps that hold down the toolset & the jack. Can someone either describe the strap placements or post a good photo? Many thanks & have a great holiday everyone! Don

All you need is one rubber strap with rectangular rings in each end and a tab extending beyond the ring in the lower end, as shown here:

Hm, there is usually a separate holder for the toolbox. I can't recall now if it's on the other side, further up the wheelwell, or the same side.

In 79 they switched to the bag, and it straps down in the exact same place.
