Re: Wish me luck...!
The turbo in white with the gold stripe looks really nice. From what I can see in the pix, the car looks great.
I'm not a huge fan of white either, but just bought a white Spider too. I'm leaning towards keeping mine white. However, my last Spider was originally silver, resprayed white by a prior owner and I color changed to red. Painting it red was the best thing I could have done to that car! It was a huge improvement and really looked great.
I agree that if you do a color change that you'll need to do it right unless you want to make the car less marketable. A cheap color change can knock a grand or more off of the value. However, I recommend that you go with whatever color you want despite what others think IF you plan on keeping it long term. If you're going to fix it and sell it then go for the most marketable color you can find.
Congrats on a great find. Post some interior pix...there are many who would buy the original blue interior if it is good condition. Blue parts are hard to find.

Re: Wish me luck...!
Thanks again guys! I've been really giving it some thought and I think I'm just going to keep her white and do an interior swap to black. Hopefully I won't regret that but with the suspension mods and wheels I think she will look good. I plan on going with black Rota RBs instead of the silver RBs I did on my last car. I think with the black interior, black wheels and the black turbo decals it should look pretty good.
