Recurrent coolant leak from the intake manifold

Hi,

Can anyone bring me out if my misery, I keep having a coolant leak from the intake manifold, I've gone through 2 gaskets now and have followed specific torque (2.5 Kg)

It just keep coming, it actually foams and bubble as if it was not tight enough...

Has anyone has the same issue?

Sounds like one of the surfaces is not flat, has corrosion, or old gasket residue is present. Not a common problem.

I cleaned both side thoroughly, apply spray silicone gasket sealant and no luck, I even try without sealant but it would still leak...

Anything else?

You could have the manifold planed at a machine shop.

i hope to not sound obvious, but check the gasket you are using. there are a few different configurations, it is possible that the one you are trying to use doesnt seal the area you are trying to seal. also i have seen a few intakes that have cracked due to freezing.

Thanks for the advise, I'll try to do both suggestions, plane the intake to make sure and will get another gasket. The 2 gaskets I got were the correct spec however they were different material one softer than the other, the one that sits now it's the harder (I think thinner) one, it also show what I can describe as "rust spots" may be that's normal...
