Fiat Car Club

Post by Pinin85 »

Does anyone know of a Fiat club in the Raleigh NC area? Or perhaps an Italian car club? There are many domestic car clubs but it is hard to find much that is European. Thanks!

If we can get some NC people together, we might be able to organize a drive/cookout in the area. I'm 2 hours away from Raleigh and there are people in the Charlotte area on this site. We can take turns with a gathering in our prospective areas. I used to do an event in W-S but with racing, I just don't have time to dedicate to it on my own anymore.

I am in Salisbury (about 2 hrs from Raleigh). I attended Denise's events when she had them up in Winston Salem. Good times. It would be good if we could work out something.

North Carolina's not as long as Florida but your still 4 hours away from Winston-Salem. Raleigh is the center point. Maybe we can get a drive together in the Raleigh area next year. It'll be great re-meeting you!

Sounds like Raleigh would be located between everyone. It would be fun to get as many of these cars together as possible. I don't know how many Fiats are around but maybe we add Alfa and Lancia. There are a couple of vintage car clubs here that we could do a joint venture with so we get more cars. I am happy to help organize something. Perhaps we could have a gathering somewhere in the morning and a rally to a lunch spot? There are some really great scenic roads to drive just north of Raleigh.

Sounds good to me. I'm in, especially if we can swing it on a Saturday in the winter or a Sunday in the spring, summer or fall. This dang racing is hard to work around.

I will try and put something together. Maybe we do 6 Sunday's a year. Doesn't compete too much with racing. April, May, June and September, October, November are my thoughts. Too hot for old cars in July and August and many are travelling. I might be able to get Fiat corporate to help underwrite the costs. I will try. Any help out there is greatly appreciated. If anyone is interested in bringing a car to these events. Please post here. If there are enough cars and interest, it could be really good.
