Does it spray if you direct wire to a power source? I'm thinking as you crank and no spray then it is not getting a signal/power. Crank with direct power and see what happens..
Perhaps the connection at the thermo time switch is a bit dodgy..

Kinda vague on the symptoms here. What's happening? Won't start? Extended cranking?
Cold start components are the auxilliary air valve, the cold start injector and the thermo-time switch. The ECU also gets a temperature signal from the air flow meter.
Let us know what the symptoms are and maybe someone will know the solution.

Thanks for the replies... tried everything you suggested. I think I have it narrowed down to a faulty wire. Now the long journey of that search begins.. ugh. ----UPDATE---- installed a different air-flow meter, the first one I put on must have been bad! Car is starting perfectly now. Thanks again!
