I just replaced the radiator in my 78 with a new stock unit. pretty simple, couldn't believe how little holds this whole thing in place, but happy it was an easy job.
My question is that after looking at diagrams, there appears to be a spacer along with 2 other washer related things. Mine just had a single washer from before, so that's what I used.
Everything works fine, but I did notice the radiator has a pronounced lean to the front that would be lessened by those spacers.
Is it a big deal?
I'm guessing the engineers had a reason to make the radiator more straight up and down, but maybe they just like stuff to be straight up and down.
Or maybe my forward leaning radiator is the new hot thing. hey that's punny.
angle of radiator when mounted?

There is a rubber grommet that provides vibration isolation, as well as spacing it away from the cross member. Here's a picture of mine when I took it apart. I'm not sure about the tilt, but I'd want the vibration isolation. Here are the grommets if you don't have them.
