Its okay, Jay. After seeing the pic a dozen times, I am now immune. It only grosses me out a little, now. For all you newbies, anytime the "M" word is brought up, this is what you will get........The worse part is Jay doesnt even preface it with a warning like "the image you are about to see is so graphic you should hide the women and children before continuing. Peace, bro!

Re: Jaw Dropped: Miata Conversions
I admire the work Simpson puts into the conversions, but for me the NB models (the newer kits) just don't work with the door shape. The NA Italia, especially the coupe, has potential. Not sure it would be at the top of my list of what to do with an MX-5 (I'd rather just sort it out properly and run the hell off it on a track, as noted), but I think Simpsons GTB looks pleasant, especially with simple steel wheels:

I appreciate your comment about the doors. It makes the car very identifiable and affects how effective the design is. The GTB is well done.

Walking down the street yesterday I saw a sliver one with blue racing stripes coming at me. It was styled just like the red convertible in the last photo of the original post. It turned right in front of me. As it drove away I could not stop laughing.
