Won't start
Won't start
Had to replace the very short fuel line between the fuel pump and fuel filter because fuel was leaking. Now, my '81 FI 2000 will not start. Cranking fine. Missed a procedure?

What have you checked?
Is the fuel pump running? (Did one of the lines at the pump get dislodged.) Gotta be spark or fuel, and because you were right there I'd check that fuel is flowing first.

Thanks Ron. I followed your advice and discovered that one of the two connectors had become disconnected. After correcting the problem it started right away. The connector had a rubber cover on it and I did not notice the problem after installing new fuel line. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it

Well OK then!
Glad you found it, thanks for the update. We often don't hear if a problem is solved.
