A couple years ago, someone played a prank on us. They posted an advertisement for a private pilot and listed us as the hiring company. It took awhile to figure out what was going on and why folks were sending in pilot applications.

One of the odder applicants was a guy who was a pilot and a mechanic. He included a picture with his application. A topless picture.

Yeah, but you only have to look at the picture of him in the FIAT to see how he let himself go.

LOL, this is the Fiat, I just bought, going to grab the trailer tomorrow and pick it up. YEEEEESSSSS the body is pitiful but this will be a good LONG project. I have got to have something to do over the winters here in the Chicago area, and my wife has wanted a convertible for quite sometime. Last winter I rebuild a boat for the summertime. I picked it up for $400 with lots of extra parts but it will definitely test my rebuilding skills. Never done a car before but have done a boat, suspension and body lift on a Jeep and build a go cart for the kids.

I will post pics along the way to show progress if I am able to make any without going insane  .

As for the guy in the car, very nice guy from Poland and this was his dream car until health issues caused little use of his hands and back issues.

Wish me luck!!!
