1800 manifold installed

Post by Flatspyder »

Just finished my 1800 manifold installed w dfev carburetor. The car is smoother, has more hp at 5th gear for sure and is way better than the dual plane manifold. Better acceleration and idle. It actually maintains 850 idle. It took me about 2 hours to dial it in. After 80 miles it still same performance.

Thanks to Todd Blanset for the manifold.

Good job. Glad it worked out for you and glad to hear she is humming.

Forgot to buy mark's adapter. So I hammer down a bolt head and used two small nuts, it's been on there for 3 months:

Some say to cap off the dizzy advance port, some say buy a charcoal canister. I capped it off.

Fuel pressure regulator with gauge is not necessary, but I'm my mind it was necessary. Haha
