Nice article. I think a well preserved properly maintained "little bumper" car is worth more the $7K tops mentioned. If you don't know a lot about these cars it paints a picture of the "large bumper" cars from 1975 on as considerably less in value. Maybe! The point of the article is correct, the spider is a grerat entry point to top down classic motoring for a car that outshines the other cars mentioned with the exception of the more pricy Alpha.
Buon giro a tutti! - enjoy the ride!

I also think 7k is also too low however, Chris has been trying to sell a nice 71 for a while and he was asking for offers around 10k. It may be the wrong time of year.

I'd like to find a big bumper that is restorable for $500.

Hey Ted. The Mira site is so doggone slow I don't have the patience to post on it. I barely have time to post here! I've replaced the master cylinders on it and am installing my carb in the next two weeks. Craig and I did a stint in the 24 hours of Lemons a few weeks ago and had a blast in a Mazda MX6. I'm hoping to get some seat time in the X19 next year. My major problem is I have no help at the track. Ron's schedule has him on the road from February to October and he's consumed with trying to keep Amber's car on the track.

O wow. I read this and wondered "What's a Mazda MX-6? Never heard of that before. Is that a Cosmo variant? Was that before the RX-7?" Google is your friend so I looked up the car on image search ...

... ooooooohhhh yeahhh ...

I once owned a red '90 MX-6.
