So, did Sam ever make it home? It must be about time for another travel adventure! Paddington had nothing on Sam.

Sam did make it home. He emerged from a box at the 2010 FFO and he brought all kinds of goodies from far away places. I consulted with Sam during a long top down trip through the Georgia mountains about writing his memoir of his kidnapping. Most of his story is right here on FS.com. I think it would make a nice book.

Hey Denise, nice to hear from you.
How's Amber making out on the track? Kicking butt..?

I had the good fortune to have Sam here for a visit, he enjoyed the sights and harvesting grapes. He picked up the knife used to escape the box from here.

Ah, is that where that knife came from? He was nice and fat on vegemite when I finally pulled him out of that box. He also had syrup all over his hands and face that he must have snuck out of Canada. He kind of reminded me of Winnie the Pooh!
Amber got Rookie of the Year at Motor Mile in Radford, VA and finished 16th out of 27 cars for the year. She would have had a top 10 finish had it not been a string of mechanical failures on the car. We think we finally got the bugs worked out and she will be running three races this fall at another track for some more seat time. I swear these cars are made out of paper (my paper money that is).

He pointed you out to me as his abductor, Craig. I had my eye on you.

Nice to see the bear made it home, Denise. Looks in surprising shape considering the time it was on walk-about. Now I have to start figuring out how to kidnap it to the desert.

I better make sure that bear is where he's supposed to be. It seems mighty odd this thread would spark interest after I visited Craig.....

Hey Craig,
If you can heist Sam again send him up here to New Jersey. I'm sure we can show him a good time and he would probably want to volunteer in the recovery effort at the Jersey shore. Don't worry we won't let him anywhere near SNOOKY

Denise,
Was Sam at the 13 FFO? I didn't see him there. Don't worry if Craig snatches him we'll make sure he gets home to you

Sam was at FFO '13, sitting of the roof of my car then playing with Csaba's little boy. He's been acting a little squirrelly lately.
