Is it true in order to remove rear shock on driver side you need to remove gas tank. Is this rear shock of bumper or rear shock of suspension. I had to remove gas tank because of all the rust it had.
Now that gas tank is out what are some of the things I should be doing before installing it back. I was thinking of replacing the rear shocks, but if I do that do I need to also change the coil springs?
What do you guys think?
Tks in advance.

Re: 1976 rear shock removal
For the Rear shock on the bumper it is nice to have the tank out but the shock for the suspension...no tank is fine installed when doing the rear shocks.
