CLOCK REPLACEMENT?

Keeping it sharp - paint, wax, detailing, etc.

CLOCK REPLACEMENT?

Post by AdamPBG »

Just got a Veglia period-correct replacement clock.
Is there a trick to "squeezing" the black bezel trim ring on?
Seems so tight that it might even be the wrong size??

Anyone experience this?
I havent yet opened up the dash to install yet, just examining it out of the box...was thinking maybe the old black trim ring might work on the new clock?

Thanks
Adam

Very small screw driver and peel the ring off of the old clock. It's aluminum and easily damaged. Then press/fold the edge, over the lip of the new clock. There is only about a sixteenth of an inch to work with, if that much
