MR2 seats $200 for the reupholstered and $ 40 for the seats and $20 for the brackets.

I use the universal square brackets, for a Vw. well, half of them since the MR2 seat has flat rear mounts and vertical front mount legs. I had to cut the universal brackets about 70% length, using only one horizontal flat bar and two vertical bars (4 bars makes a square) . Drilled two holes in the vertical front mount legs of the MR2 seats and attached the universal brackets w a nut a bolt to the 2 vertical bars in the bracket. Had to drill two holes in the back floor since they were the mount legs were wider. But the front holes aligned pretty well to the universal bracket mounts flat horizontal bar holes. I forgot to take pics but your basically trying to make 4 flat even holes to put bolts through from the bottom of the car, two from the universal bracket and two from the rear mount legs of the MR2 seats.
I love these seats, they slide back and fourth, tilt forwards and backwards, stitched matched the rear seats, and comfortable. From a 1985 MR2
