Re: Fiat Dino
I've noticed Dino Coupes are also on the rise now in Europe. They are creeping up and over 30K Euro, where they were below 20K only a year or two ago.

Re: Fiat Dino
Finally the long wait is almost over, the car went on the truck today and should be here before the end of this week, all due to being a non runner and my mechanic not being able to place the car due to limited space.

Good luck with the process that will now begin. Just remember that you are fortunate enough to be the custodian of a very beautiful car. Damn I'm jealous!!

The eagle has landed... She's home, sharing first pics before starting a new thread on her complete nut & bolt bare metal rebuild. Must admit haven't felt the butterflies for a few years but defiantly had them today.
Thanks again for all your support.

Re: Fiat Dino
Nice looking car, great lines.
Wonder though, are you going to keep it left hand drive or swap it to the wrong side?
I'm guess in Oz you can keep an older car original without having to change to right hand drive?
Going to be a great project, does it run at the moment or you going to dig into it right off the bat?

Re: Fiat Dino
No will keep it a lefty, its sitting at my mechanic (Bits of Italy) he's giving the engine a birthday clean out so I can drive it to a storage facility...After that will sit down with him and create an action plan , the paint looks good in the photo's but up close its pretty bad so will go the full monty, new paint thinking blood orange and new interior. Its going to be a fun project so will take my time and do it right.

Re: Fiat Dino
The 246 GTS (personal dream car...) colour works for me .... Black or a tan coloured interior?

Re: Fiat Dino
the colour looks good, suits the Fiat Dino, when do you think we could see the car in the flesh, will you display at Autoitalia or Autobella?

Think this is the colour and it's original to the car...

Re: Fiat Dino
Hi David,
Don't think the car will be ready in time as it will be completely dismantled , need to put new floor pans in and get all the rust out before I can start thinking of her resurrection...
Will definitely be there with my little 124 that's now pretty much done.
Cheers
