I was driving around town yesterday in the spider and pulled up behind a car that piqued my interest. It was a 500 but super sized. Had 500L on the rear badge. Big 4 door car. I guess Fiat is taking ques from Mini, letting Mini test the waters first. A regular 500 to compete with the regular mini's, and a 500L to compete with the "Big Mini's" (oxymoron)

Re: Fiat 500L???
I had a test drive in the sport version. Really impressive and huge on the inside. Same motor as the ABARTH, but with more torque, and gorgeously smooth 6 speed dual clutch auto tranny, and quality fit an finish. It isn't really a 500, except that it maintains the 500 family look. The platform is a Alfa platform. I really liked the car.
