So what do you say when someone asks what kind of car is it? Do you just say "Fiat" or do you go into the whole Pininfarina thing? When people ask I go into the Fiat/Pininfarina explanation, but sometimes I get the glassy-eyed look and realize they didn't really want this much info. I end up just saying "it's a Fiat".

Hell.
I often get that look when I try to explain what my 1980 is, and its a Fiat!
The "F" badges on the side of the car confuse people and so does the "Pininfarina" badge on the glove box door.
That's part of the charm of owning these cars, I guess.

The answer is "It's a Fiat Spider".
If they want to know more, they'll ask.
