Re: 1979 headers
Well, first off , welcome to the forum. You say you bought it for the wife but after a little seat time it will be yours. If your wanting to beef it up kinda hard to believe your doing it for the wife. Is it carbureted or fuel injected ? shouldn't be to hard to find parts or a header. If FI then I believe you would have to tap the header for a sensor or something, I wouldn't think it would be that hard. Mine is carbed so what do I know ? These cars are easy to work on so get ready for some fun . Lets just hope you don't get bit because then your life as you know it will change. Pete will give instructions on how to post pics so do us all a favor and do so. Enjoy your drives.

Re: 1979 headers
a header will depend on whether or not you still have the emission equipment on the car. I make a header that works on all Spiders, but the flange differs for a 79 with emission equipment installed

Just changing the carb will result in a large difference.
