"But it's a dry heat"..... Wow that is hot no matter what the humidity is. Stay well lubricated. Does it get significantly cooler at night? Cool enough for a comfortable Spider ride?

Currently 92 degrees at 6 AM. That's as cool as it will get today, with the high back to 118 to 120 again.

It's either a lot of swimming or time to borrow the keys to your son's cabin Russ. 57 on the mountain right now.

John, I figured you'd be up north and busting my balls about still being down in the furnace. That thermometer sits on a post on the patio, so it sees shade all day long. Yes, you are looking at the true temperature. There is a light cloud cover, so there is humidity. When I went to bed at 11:30 last night, the termometer still read 110. Today looks like more of the same. I was up early and got my work done.....2 irrigation line leaks. A very poor time for that.

About time don't ya think? Happy for you....

It's currently 90 here and a little uncomfortable without AC.

Spent the morning gingerly taking up the decking on the side of the house to replace the rotting joists. Fortunately the stringer is still in good shape and the deck appears to be redwood so I'm hoping to reuse it. Looked at Trex decking and almost had heart failure at the cost of it. Down side of it is 20 years ago I would have had this done in a day. As it is it will most likely take me 3.
