After replacing one of the brass lines that connect directly to on the side of the heater unit, then through the bulk head to one on the heater hoses, I find that my heater does not seem to work as well as it did. I may have connected the hoses the wrong way around, I am considering swapping the two hoses to see if that makes the difference....anyone been there ???

Re: Heater issue
Hi Baz.
It's just a pass through with no baffles, so direction of flow shouldn't make any difference in heat transfer. The only thing I think may affect it would be if you had the direction of flow reversed now it would be possible that crud got dislodged that has set up and wasn't being affected from the flow in the other direction.
