Hood Locking I need pics

Opened my hood today and now it wont close. Can someone send me a pic of both the metal bar on the hood and the hood latch? Trying to see where mine is failing. Looks like 68-85 are the same.

Well I am leaving this up here so I can proudly proclaim how I fixed my hood latch. Or rather, I made my hood close. It was just stiff. So I ever so gently jumped on it.

The bar can be adjusted a little up and down. If you look closely at the mounting bolts I think it may be visible that there is some play in the clearance holes.

all hood latches are the same. the latch pin is unique to each style of hood. First make sure the latch hasnt closed. pull on the release handle and it should pop open if it is closed. If you look at the latch and cant see a fork sticking up at an angle like it could accept the latch pin on the hood, then it is probably closed. If the hood was closing before, you probably dont need to do any adjustments.

I haven't had a problem with it closing since. It opened on me a couple times when I hit a bump in the road, but I played with the latch a little and it's been fine ever since.
