first a few pictures as the head arrived. it was in the most elegant box, awesome craftsmanship

fast forward to all cleaned up!
these pictures are a before and after of a 3 angle seat cut

hand lapped valves, note the darkened area on the valve face, this is the sealing area

i did not do this work, but someone installed helicoils in 12 of the camshaft housing holes, they did use wrong length hardware. i replaced with original.

Head looks great Beek.
It's in the car now, just working on putting everything back together now.
Just finished putting the timing belt on, had to pull the radiator to get the crank pulley off, the inner timing cover was a hassle. Who's idea was that any way? LOL
Any solid information on where the timing mark on the auxiliary pulley is supposed to be? The manual has a picture with the hole at about the 1 O'clock position.

yes 1 o clock is fine for the aux shaft, please turn the engine over by hand a few times just to be sure.
and yes the box, it is a work of art
