Hard top

Will a hard top for a78 fit on a 81? There is one available locally for 600$.

Should fit as well on any given 81 as it does on any given 78. My experience is that each hard top is a little different and each car is a little different, even within the same model year. Small differences, but enough that a top might fit nice and snug on one car, and loose/rattley on another. Unfortunately, setting it on your car is probably the only way to tell if it will fit well enough to be worth the price.
