smashed the finger nail

no one mention that if i took off the caliper? and dust cover. that the axle slides forward? then i shoved it back in ( in a panic ) and smashed my finger between the plates
:shock:

that was not ever mentioned on this forum lol :oops: damn it

Take a large sewing needle and heat it up red hot. Push the hot point into the blackest part of the nail. When pressure is relieved it will nolonger throb. Do not use a drill press like this guy did that I know. It Didnt work out well for him.

I did last nite
At mid nite I went in the garage an drilled a hole thru the finger nail
Feels ok today ,throbs a tad,bu not like like last nite

I mashed the nail on my right middle finger 4 years ago and the nail still grows in two separate pieces.

Right index nail replaced courtesy of a front Fiat caliper and compressed air :oops:

I think this process (smashing your nail) is on page 124 of the factory manual. Anyone have one to check it out :lol: . I was infantry Marine for 27 years and most of the visible scars on my body were inflicted by FIATS!
