I walked into the body shop where I am havin the floor pans done
There a guy just got doe spraying primer on a car less then 2 ft from mine,plus the whole inside was dust from sanding down body putty or whatever it was, I was pissed and called the owner, I bitch at him, he said they would clean it up. I said u damn right u will, wtf was they thinking?
You know how fine that dust is, totally pissed

Thanks Jim...... I feel your pain . I have had just about the same done to me. Some people have no respect of others property. Make sure it's as clean as it was when you took it in. I worked in a body shop for 3 years after high school and the boss was axe adamant about making sure no fugitive dust contaminated other vehicles. Never knew why he was so anal a out it until later on. Chill , nothing is worth risking a stroke over. Just make sure you get it back clean.

Ah yes... the dirty automotive shops of the world are fun aren't they? I got my Spider back with the arm rest and door panel smeared with black grease - I had just finished my interior. I agree that you should inspect the car carefully to ensure it was cleaned properly. I bet they'll be more cautious in the future!!!

Most body shops have that "dust" everywhere and on everything, I feel for em, it's hard to contain. That said, the body shops I deal with do a dang nice job of cleaning things up before the customer get car back. Let us know how it turns out.

There no interior in the car, it just the point that the fine dust gets in everyplace,heater vent,possible in switches or even in the gauges. There was no need for what I seen
