I dont know if this is the right place for this question , dont even know if there isnt a topic on this yet , if so pls redirect me
if layed my eyes on thes rims :
i did some reseach and i think i can make them fit , however i'm not sure
these wheeels are 15" bolt pattern 4 x 100 but i think that can be solved with "springnuts" (free translation)
springnuts:
the centerholes of thes rims are 73 mm fiat 124 has 58,5 mm. but this can besolved with a centerring :
centerring :
these are 15" 7j 25 mm offset :
and the lenso s are 15" 7j 25 mm offset , if combined with a 195/50/15 tyre , then they have a perpendicular of 1760 mm
seer here http://www.velgendiscounter.nl/UserFile ... wijzer.htm
the tyres i have now are 175/70/13 so that would make a difference of 50 mm
http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
maybe you van post your rimsize and tyre syze here the whe can compare
thx

Re: Whitch wheels will fit ?
Nice wheels Tappy, but I'd prefer to stick with those that have a 98mm pcd rather than trusting to 'wobble bolts / spring nuts or centre rings'.
My tyre calculator shows a 175/70 x13 having a diameter of 575mm and a circumference of 1807mm, which is as close as damn it to a 195/50x15 with a 576mm diameter and 1809.5 circumference.
The wheels on SPYDUH (see below) are 15"x7" with a 9mm offset (don't you love mixing imperial and metrics!) and fitted with 205/50x15 tyres that have a diameter of 586mm and a circumference of 1841mm which is about 1.7% larger than what you are looking at. The car has also been lowered without any problems with clearance or rubbing.
By the way ..... if my Dutch was as good as your English I'd be a happy man.

Re: Whitch wheels will fit ?
They are a SIMMONS wheel, called a V4. No longer in production, but I believe they were made in Sydney during the early '80s for the Alfetta GTV. (Simmons are still in business there). Alfa and Fiats share the same 98 pcd. They are a 2-piece wheel (seperate centre and rim) and I was lucky enough to find a set in an Alfa wrecking yard. They're still very popular with the Alfa brigade especially those involved in motorsport, but I'm always on the look out for any that come onto the market.adrians wrote:Curly,

As for other wheels that are available Down Under - Try Performance Wheels from Adelaide http://www.performancewheels.com.au/
They make the Superlite (Minilite copy) and various other patterns in a wide range of sizes and will set them up to suit whatever PCD you want.

Re: Whitch wheels will fit ?
Hey curly
thanks for your info those wheels look pretty sharp 2 !
So the 7"*15 wouldnt be a pro problem but i'm suprised to see you have a 7 mm offset on those , the volumex wheels are 25 mm offset does anyone know the difference ? I have to order my rims and if they dont fit i'm in it for the money

Re: Whitch wheels will fit ?
Yes, they are a smaller offset (9mm), so I also use a 12mm spacer on the hub.Tappy wrote:Hey curly

Re: Whitch wheels will fit ?
Curly your going backwards on the offset. A positive offset pushes the rim into the car .So if you truly have a et of 9 then a 12mm spacer would mean you are running a offset of -3 et . This means the rim is 3mm farther out from the center of the rim.As for the rims on top they look to be either BBS RMs which are 2 piece rims or BBS RSs which are three piece that can be widened .The RMS start with a 33et and the et gets smaller with the addition of the outer rim as the wider you go the closer to the center of the rim the face that bolts onto the hub gets. The RSs depending on what number you can find as they both are out of production as to what et it will have. The offset bolts that were shown only work on hubcentric rims and since the rear of the spider doesn't have a hub flange for the rim to rest on they are not advised as the weight of the car is held on by those four bolts that are about the size of a pencil under were the conical section is .

Re: Whitch wheels will fit ?
Damn'd just when i thought i got it
Bye the way those Wheeels aren't BBS wheels , thes a lookalikes , they come in one piece and cost only a fraction of the real bbs
Not sure wich i need now , and i really want to go on and order them
so once again : these are 7j x 15" wheels , they come in an offset of 0, 20, 25 or 38 wich would be the best fit ?
i 've seen some 7j wheels on bruces parts bin
the "volumex" wheels are 7j x 15 with an offset of 21
some new style rims 7j x 15 with an offsett of 23
so i think my new wheels shoud be close to that , i can choose from offset 20-25 so wich would be the best pick ?
considered i might mount lowering springs in the future
