Spiders in a storm

I drove home tonight through a line of storms like I have never seen. There was no hail but winds and rain not often seen.they said it was a storm system simular to the one that took all the precious lives in Oklahoma yesterday. The Spider did great, much better than my truck would have. The cars in front were changing lanes involuntarily but I stayed true. I think I passed everyone in front of me for fear they were gonna loose it. In my truck i would have been the same. What great cars we drive, after two years owning one , there is nothing I would rather drive.

people driving SUV's and modern cars keep forgetting the physics. taller centre of gravity is not a good thing in a vehicle by any means

Hi,

Many, MANY years ago, I drove from Boston to almost NYC under a Blizzard that followed us. Took a little over 7 hours...

Had to stop to clear the headlights and windshield edges of ice a few times, fill the washer bag, but damned if we didn't soldier through in style.

Some thirty years later I don't even want to drive it with the top up - but I think I've earned that.
