I am restoring my wings. I am replacing the old hard rubber seals with newer
ones (1980). They still have flex and stretch to them but have shrunk to the
point of interfering with the window closing. I want to stretch them to fill
the frame and glue into place. I tried this technique with the windshield
using a rubber adhesive. It eventually pulled away. I'm thinking crazy glue in
the corners with rubber adhesive the rest of the way. Any suggestions or
comments.

Re: adhesive help
Not sure what adhesive you tried, but 3M makes a rubber/plastic/emblem adhesive that works well.
That said I opted just to replace the wing seals. The new ones available never seem to fit according to multiple posts,
so I picked up good used ones from http://www.auto-italia.com. They fit perfectly and didn't cost much either.
