Complete floor pan and rail removal. Where to begin?

Post by eman2112 »

I have all four floor pans and under pan rails for the front pans. Where should I begin to cut? My pans are bad on each side in and out both left and right from front to back. Anyone done a total floor replacement?

Depending on the actual pieces and areas of rot, I would not do it all at once. You will want to maintain distances and spacing of certain parts locations without having to reinvent the wheel so to speak. Also the front pan is spot welded to the cross and longitudinal tubing underneath. You will need to drill out those welds as well
