Last October, we had a great Fiat run from Napa to Lake Berryessa. It's time for a spring run...how about Coloma, CA, to Mercer Caverns in Murphy's CA or maybe Columbia State Park? It isn't much a rally road, but a really pretty drive with a neat destination. Another option for the brave at heart would be meeting up at my place in Lincoln, CA, and driving to Vikingsholm Castle in Emerald Bay at Lake Tahoe. Spouses would be invited as long as they don't mind driving topless
Ideas?

Yikes! I do want to join up with you. Sounds fun.
New tires are on order. I intend to powder coat my wheels. Then a front end alignment. New radiator hoses and/or thermostat to fix a pesky leak. Should change out the timing belt. Still no synchro 4th...........when? Give me until mid-May and I'll be ready

It will probably be May. I have to replace lower A arm bushings and get new tires too. My tires have plenty of tread but are 13 years old.

Mine are Goodyears. The car went non-op in 2001, so they have to be as old as yours Cracks in the sidewall, etc.spidernut wrote:It will probably be May. I have to replace lower A arm bushings and get new tires too. My tires have plenty of tread but are 13 years old.
I'm staying with my 13inch speedline rims. I decided to try Achilles' Platinums. I plan to post a thread once i've run them.

Re: Northern CA/Bay Area Fiat Run
I've got about 300 miles on some Achilles Platinums. So far I like the grip and ride.
