1979 Fiat Spider Heat

Post by wdmh306 »

Hey all,

Finally got the Spider out of storage for the summer. I bought this vehicle last year and the heat hasn't worked. After some investigating I have found that the hoses to the heater core inlet and outlet in the firewall are not disconnected and no hoses are there to hook up. Does anyone have a diagram of how the hoses could be run for when I run new hoses? Does anyone have any idea on why this would be completely disconnected??

Thanks!!

That diagram does help. The question now is what all has to come apart for me to get to the heater core?

There are some threads showing the process and pics but a quick run down is the upper radio console, and best to remove or slide back lower console, 4 metal clips that connect the lower fan housing to the upper heater box, and whala its, out
