My dream with a car like this is to never open the doors -- hell, as far as I care the door is broken. You've got to hop over the door and land perfectly in the seat. :P :twisted: 8)

Reminds me of the first day I bought Fiona and we drove around the neighborhood, parked and then I could not put her in reverse :shock: did not realize I had to push stick down then back :oops:

That's how my X1/9's (74 79) both fit! But the Spider, no way, not enough room for the fingers to get in there.

I've always used the standard, left hand, back hand method. It has alway been awkward. I have a set of coupe handles that are black plastic with a longer reach and a big flat on the end. I'm thinking of trying those to see if they are easier.
