4.5mm FH machine screw

4.5mm FH machine screw

trying to install the little triangle pocket in the door jam. looks like a 5mm is too big and a 4mm won't tighten. I guess this means a 4.5mm. I can't find any that fit in my rusty screw stash. Can someone verify the thread size. thanks,

I look in McMaster-Carr and they dont even list a 4.5mm screw. Makes me wonder what size my threads are

You're referring to the two Philips flat head cap screws? Mine are standard 5 mm. Is there paint in the holes?
