First parking lot damage --- grrrrr

Just need to vent to someone who cares...
Had my 81 spider in the shop for a little work and needed to pick it up and park it in the general parking lot at work. (I have my own spot out front of the office, not because I'm extra important, but because it is a charity spot you bid for -- but my daily driver was parked there.

As I walked away from it, i somehow thought something bad would happen. Well, it was pouring rain when work ended so I climbed in and drove home. Noticed yesterday that there is a hole punched in the right rear tail light lens. Nuts. I am just grateful that no steel was wrinkled. Dont now how they did that, with the rear bumper sticking out so far.

That's the only damage I've had in over three years. Gotta go to the other part of the forum and look for a part I guess...they're not cheap!

consider yourself lucky, I had mine at work in a secured spot and someone reversed into the nose of my car, just enough to leave some green paint, obviously know one owned up to it.....

I share your pain and am so sorry to hear about the damage. I washed my car on Sunday and found the rear side marker cracked with a large rock chip in the center of it. I recalled hearing a loud bang while driving...now I know where the rock hit. It makes me angry because all of my lights and side markers were original and in perfect condition.
