Is looking like a decent car finally
Getting from the. PO in Cali, it was a mess,
Missing shock, crossmember was broke,brake caliper was missing,exhaust fell off in my driveway the day it arrived and on it first start,seat rails where bashed down,all the dash wood was covered with red felt cloth,speedo cable was broke
Center heater controls unit was busted in half,lights did not work in the dash,or the console light,dissy exploded ,rotor cap screw was stripped and flew out,shattering the inside of the cap, caulking on the nuts holding the front end together I shit you not. Lol , no tail lights
Makes a person wonder what the hell was this guy thinking, I am no mechanic by all means,but can assure you what I do to this car,it done right and will be safe
Anyways, all the above has been fixed or upgraded parts

I think this car will be great at the end, I just may keep it needs a paint job, apparently the PO said it got DuPont primer on the body now, if you get a grease spot on the body,it don't wipe off lol. Well that's another story,

The sad part on my end is that I really only have one dream car, I have had the reality dream for years,when I first on this one 69 from a guy in Seattle Washington,
Started out when I lived there,some buddy of mine had a girl freind ad this red fiat was in her garage, it was givin to me,I really can't recall what it looked like or what it needed,but I looked for another fiat,I found a 69 for 350.00 with a hard top
I drove it 60 miles home ( lived in wa.) I decided to keep the 69 and trash the red one
Long story short,I moved back to North Dakota / Minnesota . Brought the 69 with on a dolly
That was in 1994, had it since, my plan was to fix it and make it look beautifull with a decked out engine and a stereo out of this world
Well I started buying parts for it long ago, one day I was thinking how much work it would take to get this to the point where it be decent and how much cash it will take, lots,
So I ran across a 69 red 124 . Damn near to be perfection, I bought it, I paid 8000 for it, yes it was a lot, but in my eyes I would have spent 8 grand to get it road ready and plus, so I swapped out the 69 idea, parted out the other 69 and still going with my plans on the red 69
This year I will be doing the suspension, from back to front,all new parts,brake rotors ect,
Then hope full start getting my engine parts, they will be all new ,I do got some ideas from you all in what I want for a engine,
I would like power,speed,and torgue, I know I can't explain things right on the words that I used, you can figure it out
I got the carbs already,( gold of course, and cam covers, ' I got perfect bumpers which I have bought from some oe on this, I have got rechromed tail light housing and outside mirror,
The paint will be a yellow metallic, I got that picked out, my body man and painter is my brother, he does body work and paints million dollar show cars, they fly him to San Francisco to paint chip foose cars
So I'm sure it will be done right
I got my wheels pick out
Im set for my 20 thousand dollar rebuilt lol
