i used the oval holes.... they need to be "wallered out" a bit

you just have to round them out a bit...the holes as is are wide enough just not tall enough if you know what i mean.. do a little at a time and then check fitment .... i would wait until you have the kit in hand..... dont just round them out

Thanks, i have them. I just have not looked at them yet. I seems to loose stuff in my garage.

i used some type of grinding thing that fit in my drill... looked like a small barrel .... the guy at ace said it would work... not a whole lot needs to be removed.... did not trust my abilities with my big grinder tryiing to finesse a cut in that small space.... worried that i would cut too much or catch and run a big scratch.... and the sawzall seem to be overkill

i seen that not much needs to be removed
how did u fasten that light? what did you use on the back side?

the light has a cup that mounts from the back side to secure the light

with a Dremel or similar grinder, remove a slight amount of metal from the top and bottom of each bumper shock hole. The rubber grommet will fill the gaps around the edges of the lights.

While there's nothing wrong with the blinker light kit ... ;) ... I elected to fit some custom truck headlamps with integrated LED blinkers in the the bottom 10mm or so. There's also a row of LEDs for the park lights.

Ping me if you'd like pictures - on the Texas Hill Country run a couple of weeks back, people saw mine and weren't overly critical :D
