headlight ring clip

On the later model spiders, there is a clip on the top of the headlight
opening for hanging the chrome ring. I need a picture of one so i know what to
scrounge for. Also the early spiders used a rubber trim on the chrome ring,
where the later models use a plastic ring. Is there any reason why you can't
use the early rubber trim on a late model car.
