Part numbers

Post by juvius »

Does anyone here have the ability to look up part numbers? I've been googling all day and can't really figure out what's what. If you don't mind looking, i can pm or email the part numbers.

thanks,
steve

go to the Vicks auto web site or IAP and view the parts catalogs on line. I know you can down load the one on Vicks. Should be able to find what you need from there.

These look like casting numbers from a 1608 or 1438 head assembly and intake to me

i have two 2000 heads, either a 1438 or 1608 head (haven't figured it out yet - 4232871), and an 1800 head. i have limited space and i managed to mix everything up. I just want to make sure i have the right valves to go on the 1800 head that i'm putting on the 2000 block....

thanks. i guess i was over complicating it, as i usually do. Any idea why one of them has that thick pulley for two belts? I'm just curious what the extra belt ran.

The double pulley for the cam goes on the exhaust and runs the air pump. when that air pump locks up it tends to break the timing belt and there goes your head.
