Air flow flap cable attachment picture

Post by rjkoop »

Crap. I should have taken more pictures. Anyone have a picture (or can describe) of how the air flow flap (under the cowl) cable attaches to the flap? I have a plastic piece but can't see how it goes onto the cable (which has the wire with the looped end).

Wow wee! Perfect pics.

After I posted I went out and realized that the plastic clip wasn't for that cable and attached directly to the flap instead. The pics confirm that though. Thanks.

Used the clip on the flap on the plastic heater box. And that works great. Put the cowl back on and everything looks great. Even lubed the wiper mechanism while I was in there.
