Hi, I am looking to replace the flex lines to the front calipers, are they easy to find at parts stores?
Thanks, Mike.
I

Re: flexable brake hoses.
I think you can buy the hoses if you know other makes that use the same hoses. unlike Bleader screws and calipers that can be easily identified by year, make, model. I've run into some shrugged shoulders when tryin to by a simple brake hose at the local stores. Even NAPA had to order the hoses as they had none in stock. I think you are better off going with one of the established vendors that know the nuances of these cars by year. Although i don't think there was a chnage in brake hoses over the years?

I would definitely go with hoses from one of our trusted supplies.
For a few more $ you can upgrade to braided stainless lines.
Heres' a link to Marks braided ones but all the normal suppliers have them as well as the regular lines

Re: flexable brake hoses.
Thank you for all the great info. I'm hoping new lines will eliminate my brake dragging issue. The calipers seem okay and the lines are badly rotted, so new ones are in order anyway.

Re: flexable brake hoses.
the braided steel hoses outlast the rubber and provide a much firmer feel to the pedal and aren't much more expensive
Re: flexable brake hoses.
I was able to get new hoses and caliper rebuild kits locally and very affordable. Brakes work great, no more dragging. Thanks for all the help...now to figure out how to get the horns working
